Scott Huff continues to hit homers with reeling in top offensive line talent, and today the quake in California was felt on Montlake when the Huskies got a pledge from 4-star offensive guard, Myles Murao.
The Mater Dei recruit had been predicted to be a USC Trojan for nearly a year, but he always had a genuine love for Washington — and his recent official trip to Seattle just solidified that feeling.
“I love Washington”, Murao said, “I really liked the atmosphere up there and the coaches.”
Murao is the #2 center in the country in 2020.
Originally, the plan was for Murao to announce later in the winter at the All American Bowl, but sometimes fate steps in plans go out the door.
Murao was at The Opening earlier in the week and readers seemed surprised that he spoke so highly of Washington, but why? His relationship with Scott Huff has been excellent and he’s been to Seattle three times; he did his research.
The Huskies beat UCLA, USC, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas A&M, Wisconsin, and others for Murao.
It’s a holiday today and we stepped away from the grill just long enough to get this written up — we will definitely have more later.
