WOOF: Kyler Gordon is a Dawg

It was a belated birthday present, but an early Christmas present for Husky DB coach, Jimmy Lake.

Everett, WA. (Archbishop Murphy) 4-star corner, Kyler Gordon informed the Husky coaches that he will be signing with the hometown Huskies.

Gordon was rumored to have been a hard lean to Notre Dame, but the Husky coaches did a great job of getting his attention back on the Huskies.

What we heard earlier this week was that the turning point was the interactions with other parents and recruits while on the official visit last weekend.

Gordon, himself, was already sold on Washington — but the visit was the final deciding factor.

This continues to secure the Huskies’ top spot in the Pac-12 rankings, and there could be some movement in the  national rankings where the Huskies are currently at #11.

One thing we know about Gordon is that he’s an elite corner — this is a huge pick up for the Huskies. He chose the Huskies over USC, Notre Dame, Stanford, Nebraska, TCU, UCLA, and others.

At 5-11, 180 he is going to fit perfectly into the Husky secondary and will likely see the field early and often at Washington.
