WOOF: Huskies Secure Pledge from Arizona Long-Snapper, Jaden Green

At 5-11, 195, Mesa, Arizona long-snapper, Jaden Green is just what the doctor ordered for a need they had to fill in 2020.

Green, who was offered tonight and committed right on the spot, spoke to Realdawg.com shortly after he had made that decision, “They asked if I could call”, he explained about how the offer and commitment came down, “Then they talked to my family…it just happened about 15 minutes ago. Washington is my dream school so I had to take it.”

The reason for it being his “dream school” goes back to his childhood, “They were always my team in video games”, Green laughed, “I liked them and the Seahawks”.

Green started his long-snapping career two years ago, and he still plays linebacker as well.

His emphasis is on speed while also paying attention to accuracy. His precision is on point. The ball comes out like a rocket in .65.

Green is an Under Armour All American and has put in a lot of time and effort into perfecting his craft, and he’ll snap on punts and field goals both at Washington.

“I went up there for camp and that’s how I got noticed by them”, Green added, “Coach Gregory and I have a great relationship — he’s a great guy.”

Green will be setting up his official trip to Washington and plans to sign in February.
