Last week, Crespi (CA) defensive back, Chance Tucker finally got a closer look at UW when he took a virtual tour. While not in-person, he was able to see enough to give Washington a legit shot.
“It was awesome”, the 6-1, 170 lb. corner told Realdawg.com. “I felt all the love from the coaches — I was very impressed”.
Tucker was offered by the Huskies back in May, and since then the Huskies’ effort has picked up a great deal of steam. Tucker said that the Washington offer was “huge” for him.
And his relationships with Will Harris and Terrence Brown have become strong as well, but this time Jimmy Lake was involved in the tour, “I particularly enjoyed the time that Coach Lake spent talking with my parents and I”, Tucker added.
When asked if this tour gave him enough info for now (in the event official trips can’t take place), Tucker explained “Yes it did for sure — I learned a lot about their school and culture.”
Tucker said it won’t be long before he’s ready to make a decision, “I’m in the process of narrowing things down right now — I am planning on making a decision relatively soon.”
And are the Huskies in strong contention?
“Yes for sure”, Tucker said.
