Washington Builds Recruiting Momentum, Sends More Offers After Thumping Stanford

Football and recruiting is all about momentum and the Washington Huskies have it right now both on the football field and on the recruiting trail.  A week after capitalizing on nationally televised victory over the Michigan State Spartans, Washington secured the commitments of two 2024 players. Now, on the heels of its 4-0 start Washington is seizing the momentum and have sent out two fresh offers over the weekend.

Now ranked 15th in the nation, the Huskies sent one offer to Dickenson, Texas 2024 corner back, Rodney Bimage, Jr. while the other went to California defensive back Chuck McDonald III.

Bimage, Jr. lists himself as an 6-1, 170-pound All-American corner who also plays 7-on-7 ball for Houston-area Champion Athlete Training.

McDonald III is also a 2025 defensive back and lists himself 6-1, and180 pounds. He plays for national power, Mater Dei High School in California.

The Huskies began to have success in the Long Horn state under Chris Petersen and recently flipping edge defender Anthony James from Texas A&M. Mater Dei has been a feeder to USC for years but with pulling offensive lineman Miles Murao in 2020 the Huskies have demonstrated that Montlake is a great option, as well.
