After focusing much of their recruiting efforts on the state of California in the early part of January, the Washington coaches have sent out a couple of offers to players in Texas—from the same school.
South Oak Cliff High School athlete Jayden Shelton reported his offer Monday morning.

The two-time state champion also runs track.
His teammate at South Oak Cliff, Brandon Jones also announced his offer from Washington. Although he’s listed as a linebacker Washington is pursuing him as a defensive back.
He told RealDawg.com that the offer from the purple and gold came out of the blue.
”I was suprised because this my 3rd pac 12 offer,” the 6-1, 190 pound linebacker said. “Today was my first time hearing from them when I got the offer.”
RealDawg.com will have more from both players in the coming days.
