As Realdawg.com first reported earlier today, we did confirm that Jacob Sirmon has removed his name from the transfer portal.
The redshirt sophomore had given the coaches reason to believe he was staying put back before spring football began, but his name went into the portal earlier this week.
This is good news for Washington, as now they do have four quarterbacks on scholarship, despite the loss of Colson Yankoff.
Sirmon did get some good looks during spring ball, and on Saturday at the spring preview. A local athlete, his family is very supportive of his decision — but would have supported a decision to transfer.
