The Washington Huskies are 12-0 for the first time since 1991.

They are the only team in the Pac-12 era to go undefeated through the conference schedule.

And they control their own destiny to make the college football playoff.

The final test in the gauntlet that was November was the Apple Cup. The 115th matchup between the two Washington programs will be the final matchup between two conference opponents with Washington’s move to the Big-10. This game, like many others, ended with a Washington victory and was filled with big plays on both sides.

The Huskies put the nail in the Cougar’s coffin with a 4th and 1 end around from Rome Odunze for 23 yards to get Washington close to field goal range. Grady Gross nailed a 43 yard field goal as time expired to ensure the perfect season.

Jake Grant, Kaila Olin, Coach V, and Trevor Mueller break down what happened in the Apple Cup.
