Woof! Many looked at Washington’s recruiting room and wondered who would replace Rome Odunze and Jalen McMillan who are likely headed to the NFL after this coming season. Well, the Washington Huskies continue to add on to one of the top receiver rooms in the country with the commitment of 4-star Long Beach Poly receiver Jason Robinson.
He announced his commitment to the Huskies this morning on Twitter. (more below this tweet)

A former USC commit, Robinson becomes the 2nd verbal commitment for the Huskies for the class of 2024.
Washington beat out the likes of USC, Notre Dame, and Miami in bringing the shifty receiver. Robinson was committed to the Trojans for a year and a half before changing his mind and selecting UW among his 17 official offers.
Husky fans had been clamoring for some good news since 3-star QB EJ Caminong and 3-star Landon Bell decommitted earlier this month. In fact, Robinson was a late addition to the June 23rd recruiting weekend and essentially took the spot vacated by Bell’s change of heart.
At 5-11.5, 160 Robinson is known as a speedster and is exactly what Washington will need going forward. Drawing comparisons to Rondale Moore, a former star under JaMarcus Shephard.
The Huskies are also in a very good spot for 4-star Kwazi Gilmer, as well.
Last go-round Shephard signed another 4-star speedster, Taeshawn Lyson and 4-Rashid Williams, and got Germie Bernard to come back to Washington.
Washington now has commitments from:
4-star receiver, Jason Robinson
4-star offensive lineman, Paki Finau
RealDawg.com will have full comments from Robinson after the big recruiting weekend wraps up.
