2025 4-Star Receiver Talks Big Brother’s Commitment to Washington, Looking for Own Offer

Earlier today, the Washington Huskies received the commitment from 4-star receiver Jason Robinson.  On hand to witness the pledge was his younger brother and 4-star receiver in his own right, Jadyn Robinson.

“Best thing in the world,” Jadyn said.  “I’ve never seen him more happy.”

Jason and Jadyn are receivers at Long Beach Poly in California and both have great relationships with Washington receivers coach JaMarcus Shephard– although Jadyn has yet to receive a Washington offer.  He announced on Thursday that he’d be joining his big brother and dad for Jason’s official recruiting visit–as an unofficial visitor.

“I would love it up there with big bro,” Jadyn said.

Jason is rated the 424th best player in the nation while also Jadyn has the 247Sports Composite rating 4-star the scouting services have him as the 296th player overall in the country.  Already he’s enjoyed how Husky Nation has embraced him and his family.

“I love the people, the fans, the coaches, and the players,” he said.

The sentiment appears to be mutual with the above tweet getting over 22,000 views since being posted Thursday morning.

After a breakout sophomore season last year, the Jackrabbits’ Jadyn was honored as first-team all-league.  In 11 games Jadyn had 48 receptions for 574 yards and 9 TDs.

He also ran track this past season posting an 11.33 in the 100 meters before focusing on the long jump.

“I was 70-percent healthy at that point,” he said.  “Next year I’ll open up with a 10.8 or high 10.7.”

He helped Long Beach Poly to a CIF Championship overall with 4×100, with a time of 41.64.  He also posted a 21′-11″ long jump this past season good enough for top 15 in the state–with 2 years to go.

Now that he’s fully healthy he’s getting ready for the upcoming football and he’s also hopeful that the Huskies “bless me with the opportunity.”
