The Huskies have added a 7-foot-1 center Braxton Meah via the transfer portal. Meah is transferring from Fresno State where he played in 32 games in 2021-22. The former 3-star recruit averaged just 8.1 minutes, 2.2 points, and 2.2 rebounds per game last season.
Braxton Meah’s playing time was greatly reduced due to being behind First Team 2021-22 All-Mountain West forward Orlando Robinson. Robinson averaged 19.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
Meah’s commitment fills a big hole after Nate Roberts decided to turn pro. Meah could potentially be a great piece in Mike Hopkins’ 2-3 zone defense. Meah will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
