BREAKING: Huskies land Kepnang from transfer Portal

Huskies have landed 6-foot-11 center Franck Kepnang.

Kepnang played two seasons for Oregon before putting his name in the transfer portal.  In 52 games for the Ducks, Kepnang averaged 4.1 points and 2.5 rebounds per game – to go along with 60 blocks.

The former 4-star and top-50 recruit has three seasons of eligibility left.

“Hopkins needs a lot of big men, and another guy who’s rumored to be holding Washington in very high regard is former Oregon center Franck Kepnang, “Senior Realdawg editor Roman Tomashoff said in his Two Sport Recruting Roundup.  Kepnang was a top 50 recruit coming out of high school, and a combination of Kepnang and Aimaq down low could solve a lot of problems on the boards for the Huskies.  The two big men would also make life way easier on incoming four-star point guard Koren Johnson, who should see a lot of minutes in his first year on campus.”

We will have more on this story later. Stay tuned!
