Double Trouble: 2021 Texas Twins talk about Husky Offer

The Huskies have gone into Allen, Texas before, and in 2021 they have spotted and offered two receivers this week who will be high on the boards going forward.

Why take one, though, if you can get two?

Identical twins, Bryson and Blaine Green both have exceptional D1 talent and wouldn’t mind going to the same college, “We’d like to”, they said, “We don’t need to but it’s a choice”.

Blaine and Bryson both have 13 offers now, and both talked about what this Washington offer means.

“It’s great and we feel very blessed”, they said, “We’ve been wanting this one for awhile because they have a great passing offense and we have a good relationship with Coach Adams.”

The Huskies were at Allen High School today and shortly after the call was made and the offer put forth.  At 6-2, 205 Blaine and Bryson both have excellent skills on the field; crisp route-running, athleticism, and fluidity in yards-after-catch.

Both have some high academic aspirations too; Bryson wants to go into Sports Medicine and Blaine into Zoology.

“We just want to go somewhere where we can utilize our skillset”, they said, noting that development and stability in coaching staffs will play a big part of their decisions,

The twins are hoping to get up to Seattle in late July (after dead period ends) and, while most Texas guys have to think hard about leaving the Lone Star state, these two have only lived in Allen for four years.

“We’re from Minnesota”, they said.

While it’s still early in their journeys, these two are quality young people who will definitely be high on the Huskies’ board going forward and we’ll be following their progress.
