The news began going viral tonight that Hawai’i 4-star OL, Julius Buelow will not be waiting until January, but rather, will be announcing a decision before December.
“Likely by the end of this month”, Buelow’s mother Sipa told Realdawg.com.
We have touched on this at length in other reports, but Buelow did want to commit to Washington back in the late spring after taking an unofficial visit, but decided to wait it out and give it all more thought.
But we figured something was coming down when Buelow’s mother told us Sunday night, “I’ll have some news for you in a couple weeks.”
We didn’t report that because it seemed to be kind of hush-hush, but reports began circulating tonight about this so we can release that info.
Some have thought Buelow is a silent commit, but the bottom line is that he has made no public announcement yet — but it’s our feeling that the Huskies are in the best shape to land this elite prospect.
Buelow was in Los Angeles over the weekend as his team came to the mainland to play Downey and then attend the UCLA game.
Like Jacob Bandes, Buelow will graduate early and so it would have made no sense for him to wait to make an announcement until January. He would have announced at the Poly Bowl.
