“Loyal to the pack, we on!” were the words that Washington fans had been waiting to hear. After two weeks in limbo, Washington 2024 Commit Paki Finau has pulled his name from Transfer Portal.
A big credit is due to his friend Landen Hatchett who also returned to Washington after putting his name into the portal last month.

Finau signed in December during the early signing period and then enrolled at UW in January. and stayed in school but put his name into the portal after Kalen DeBoer and several offensive assistants left for Alabama. The 6-5, 253-pound interior offensive lineman from Hesperia in California’s High Desert was one of Washington’s highest-rated players in the recruiting class before DeBoer bolted for ‘Bama.
In between the coaching switcheroo, due to his Tongan heritage, Finau went to Hawaii for nearly a week to play in the Polynesian Bowl.
However, with the good comes the bad as earlier today TE Josh Cuevas entered the Transfer Portal.
