The Washington Huskies have announced an early start to Spring Football for the 2023 football season—roughly two weeks before the actual vernal equinox on March 20.
In addition to the the early start, gone appears to be the Spring Preview. I’m it’s place is a reworked Spring Game set for April the 22nd at 1 PM.
This is the earliet start to Spring Practice in recent memory. The Huskies will practice for 3 days— the 6th, 7th, and 8th of March before returning to the field on March 29.
The Huskies first week of practice will not have the players in full equipment. However, when practice resumes on the 29th it’s expected that the players will need in full gear with mostly full contact for the remainder of the Spring.
