As reported earlier this week by RealDawg.com Will Rogers has committed to the Huskies. The Mississippi State transfer joins former teammate Dillon Johnson in the Pacific Northwest
Rogers comes to Washington with one year of eligibility left after four years with the Bulldogs. Last year Rogers played in eight games and threw for almost 2,000 yards with 12 touchdowns. He was a prolific passer in Mike Leach’s offense in his sophomore and junior seasons.
While in the Leach system Rogers put up gaudy numbers but showed the ability to make every throw on the field.
Rogers will pencil in for the 2024 season before all eyes will be on redshirt freshman Austin Mack.
