As expected, former Washington Husky quarterback Sam Huard transfer to Cal Poly, as RealDawg.com reported 3 weeks ago.
The one time 5-star signal caller told RealDawg.com 3 weeks ago that Huard was “locked in” to reuniting with his high school coach at Kennedy Catholic, Sheldon Cross.
He left Washington to find a spot where he can start immediately. At Washington he made only one start in the 2021 Apple Cup. He went 22-42 with 1 TD and 4 interceptions in 4 makes that season.
The 6-2, 193 signal-caller went 2 for 2 for 24 yards this past season in spot duty.
There’s no official announcement but the situation appears to have moved from “likely” as ReaDawg.com reported nearly 2 weeks ago, to now being “locked in”.
