On Leap Day, 3-star interior offensive lineman Micheal Watkins made the leap from Arizona to Washington.
In a hand-made “UDUB” t-shirt the 6-3, 285-pound former Arizona Commit announced his decision on social media Thursday night.

The US Army All-American signed him National Letter of Intent in December with Jedd Fisch in Arizona before.
Even during the transition of the Wildcats coaching staff to Seattle Watkins appeared to be solid to U of A.
That is until his high school teammate at Apollo High School in Glendale, Arizona, entered the Transfer Portal and resurfaced in Seattle. When his running back Adam Mohammed chose UW Watkins have a change of heart.
Watkins has been recognized as two-time All-Region offensive lineman for the Apollo.
