A week after missing out on 4-star East Coast offensive tackle the Washington Huskies made a splash, receiving the commitment of 4-star offensive lineman Paki Finau.
At 6-5 and 260 pounds projects as an interior offensive lineman. However, RealDawg.com’s high school recruiting analyst Trevor Mueller sees a high ceiling for Finau.

“Troy Fautanu is the Huskies’ starting offensive tackle and he’s 6-4 and 312 pounds while Finau is taller and equally athletic,” Mueller said. “Realistically, he could end up playing multiple spots along the line.”
Finau has held the Huskies in high regard since his first visit to Seattle earlier this year.
At that time, after seeing fellow offensive lineman Landen Hatchett’s jump into the Montlake Cut during a recruiting visit, he told RealDawg.com that one he’d like to take the plunge one day.
Soon he’ll get that chance.
