New, Washington head coach of Jedd Fisch continues to reel in QB prospects. This time it’s bringing in California quarterback Dash Beierly. Beierlyis a 3-star from Chaparral High School in Temecula, California. He originally committed to Arizona over the likes of Miami, Utah, and Duke, but will now be heading to Montlake.
In light of recent developments and the strength of the relationships I’ve built during the recruiting process, I have decided to decommit from Arizona and will be committing to the University of Washington! The Huskies weren’t alone in Big 10 suitors as Michigan and USC were monitoring the Los Angeles area QB.
The 6-1, 215 has steadily risen in the QB ranks since starting out as the 46th signal caller on 247 Sports rankings. Now the number 28 ranked quarterback On3 but top 10 on Rivals.
Beierly likely won’t be the QB1 when he steps on campus, but with the talent he’s demonstrated through high school he will be a top shelf addition to a fresh Husky QB room.
As a dual threat quarterback, he accounted for 2,520 all-purpose yards and 29 TDs, 1,966 yards and 17 TDs through the air.
RealDawg.com will have a full interview with him later on today.
