Not long after offering 5-star Folsom quarterback Ryder Lyons the Washington Huskies have received the commitment of former 3-star Folsom defensive lineman DeShawn Lynch.
The 6-5, 283-pound defender is a fifth-year junior. He began his career at nearby Sacramento State before entering the Transfer Portal.
Lynch started all 13 games and had 34 tackles, 7 QB hurries, 4.5 sacks, a pass breakup and a forced fumble.
Rated as a three-star defensive end coming out of FHS in 2020, he curiosity chose to hold off on signing during the early signing period despite Power 5 offers from Oregon, Nebraska, Oregon State, USC, and Tennessee.
When those schools filled their rosters he was left to sign with Sacramento State.
