The Washington Huskies have gone into Oregon and taken the fourth player in the last two years with the commitment of 3-star defensive lineman, Dominic Macon.
And that’s not including 4-star running back Ansu Sanoe for the class of 2025.
Macon is a 6-3, 305 pound run-stuffing defensive lineman from Happy Valley, Oregon, just outside Portland.
His pledge brings Washington’s recruiting class up to 14 commits, and up to 35th in the nation with several other other commitments on the way over the next few hours, and even more in the coming weeks.
He is rated the 8th best player In the Beaver State and 107th defensive lineman in the nation. His star has been on the rise once wrestling season was over and he was crowned state heavyweight champion.
“He has all the tools needed to be a top run stuffer in the Big 10,” said Trevor Mueller, RealDawg’s lead high school football scout. “Once he was able to get out onto the camp circuit school schools began to take note.”
RealDawg will have more on Macon shortly
