He’s local. He has over 40 offers. He’s a 4-star tailback, and this morning, he committed to Coach Petersen and the Huskies.
Eastside Catholic’s own Sam Adams Jr. committed to Washington this morning.
Adams, who’s the son of Sam Adams Sr. who played at Texas A&M and had a pro career before settling down in Seattle, took his official trip to Washington back in June and some believed he might pull the trigger then, but he wound up taking a trip to Ohio State and that seemed to prolong was many felt was inevitable: That he would go to Washington.
But as summer went on Adams decided to take the plunge.
He told us a week ago that he was thinking it over and a commitment was coming down before the end of summer.
Thank you to all of the coaches who saw potential in me at the next level. Thank you for the help and and for recruiting me through this process.
I'm 100% committed and happy with my decision. Thank you.
