WOOF! Huskies Add Texas A&M Transfer, Jeremiah Martin

He was recruited heavily by Washington back in high school in California, where he led the state in sacks in 2018, and now things have come full circle and Jeremiah Martin is a Husky.

The 6-5, 245 lb. BUCK committed to Washington several days ago, and today he made it official when he returned the signed paperwork needed to be ready to enroll this spring.

The last time he was recruited, Pete Kwiatkowski was still playing point for Martin, but this time it was Ikaika Malloe’s persuasion that convinced Martin to return to the school he loved so much back in 2018.

But Martin also had established an excellent relationship with Jimmy Lake in 2018 and that carried over to his current decision, and don’t forget to credit Keith Bhonapha who recruited the area.

Martin has since become a father to a 4-month old little boy named K’Myron, and he’s hungry and ready to reset his career and begin anew.

He has the prototypical frame the staff is looking for, with the same measurables as Tryon, and just needs to refine his pass rush moves. If he can add dimensions to his game and bend more off the edge to help collapse the pocket, he’ll be an NFL prospect in a few years.

We will be talking with Martin this evening and will have more on this breaking story.
