Another day, another big pick up for the Washington Huskies. This time it’s 3-star Tight End Austin Simmons.
Simmons will be coming from West Albany, Oregon as a member of the class of 2025.
At 6’5” 220 Simmons is a big body to add to the UW tight end room.
The Huskies flipped his commitment from in-state rivals Washington State to secure the commitment of the tight end. To Simmons Washington was the clear choice . “I always feel like Washington is home whenever I am there.” Simmons said in his commitment
Simmons credited his decision to coach Jordan Paopao, saying: “Coach Paopao is the best in the business. His track record of putting tight ends into the league is incredible.”
The work starts soon for the new tight end as he will be an early enrollee at UW.
