WOOF! Huskies add 2022 Local Wideout, Denzel Boston to Commit List

The Huskies have added one more receiver to the class of 2022 roster; Emerald Ridge receiver Denzel Boston.

“I love Washington”, Boston told Realdawg.com about his decision, “I get to play in front of everyone I’ve been playing in front of my entire life.”

Boston committed several days ago, but waited to make the announcement today on Twitter.

“Coach Lake was super-ecstatic”, he said of the moment he informed the Husky head coach, “He said ‘let’s go…let’s go win a national championship’, Coach Adams already knew what was up.”

Another guy excited about Boston’s decision is co-commit Germie Bernard.

he said, “Germie wanted me to commit”, he said, “We’re 100% committed to becoming the best duo in the nation, that’s our goal”,

“It’s been long process”, Boston added, “I’ve been talking to Coach Adams since the spring on a weekly basis and we have a good relationship. When I went with FSP, Coach Lake brought me into his office and said he wanted me to be a Dawg. Coach Lake is a great leader to be around and that’s what a coach should be; someone I can talk to.”

Boston had early offers from Arizona State, Washington State, Arizona, Nevada, and EWU, and you can bet the usual poachers will try to get involved now that he’s committed to Washington, but Boston is pretty resolute in his desire to stay home.\

“There’s no reason to go out of state”, he said.

At 6-3 1/2, 180, Boston is a quick receiver who uses his length and physicality to his advantage. He has silky hands and runs crisp routes. Junior Adams loves lengthy receivers who have long arms and are strong enough to get off blocks but also able to use that strength for downfield blocking.

He’s a little like a young Jermaine Kearse.

This will complete the Husky receiving class of 2022.
