A day after offering J. Serra Catholic QB the Huskies were one of many schools to visit the school.

A ton of activity as the coaches head out to check in on targets and handed out one very curious offer to another 2024 QB at J. Serra Catholic, Michael Tollefson.

One stop was west of Los Angeles with the La Verne, California

Coach Schmidt continued his recruiting trip into Colorado, checking out Broomfield High, northwest of Denver.

The Huskies have offered Connor Gilbreath from Butte College in Oroville, California.

Huskies are staying in communication with three-star athlete in Arizona, Plas Johnson. He does not have a visit set up to Washington yet, he said.

The Washington coaches are fanning out across the West, visiting schools and prospects.

defensive backs coach, Julius Brown was in the Bay Area to check out Armijo High School.

Coach Schmidt went to Colorado to check out Severance High School just outside of Fort Collins, north of Denver.

Khmori Houses has set up a visit to Seattle for the final full weekend in June.

Over the weekend, running backs coach Lee Marks checked out some in state schools, including Fife the Alma mater of Husky, edge defender Sekai Asoau-Afoa.

Defensive line coach, Breckterfield is in the Beehive State in Provo checking out Timpview High School.

Meanwhile, down in Eugene, Oregon Washington QB commit EJ Caminong was on hand for the Elite 11 competition and held his own against some bigger names.

“Caminong also had some of the best throws on the day during the All-22 portion of camp. In one-on-ones the 6-foot-2, 195-pound prospect had a great down-field completion that maybe was only surpassed by the aforementioned Raiola and Van Buren. He did a great job of throwing his receivers open in shorter and intermediate routes.” —247Sports

Speaking of in-state recruiting, the coaches were out visiting Seattle area schools over the weekend.

On Sunday, OT Fletcher Westphal who had Washington in his top 10, didn’t include UW in his top five.  I spoke with him last week and he seems to be looking for a college town and a big city of Seattle did not appear to suit him.
