In recent years, Washington Huskies have done well in Las Vegas pulling in receiver Rome Odunze, Linebacker Edefuan Ulofoshio, both from Bishop Gorman and Troy Fautanu and Germie Bernard from Liberty High School. All four players expected to be major contributors this coming season with all but Bernard starting.
The Huskies are back at it in the Silver State offering two Las Vegas offensive linemen within 40 minutes of each other. They announced their Washington offers on Twitter earlier this afternoon.
One offer went to 4-star 6-5, 300-pound offensive lineman Douglas Utu from who was recently offered by Alabama, USC, UCLA, Oregon.
Holding a reported 21 offers, Utu is listed at the top prospect in the Silver State by 247Sports’ Composite Ranking.
Just before Utu let Twitter know of his offer, his teammate and fellow offensive lineman at Bishop Gorman Seuseu Alofaituli was offered by the Huskies.
After a great conversation with @scotthuffUW I am Truly blessed and honored to receive an offer from the University of Washington.#Jury @BishopGormanFB @GregBiggins @BrandonHuffman @BlairAngulo @ChadSimmons_ @adamgorney pic.twitter.com/kaNOngBNlG

Listed as a 5-star interior offensive lineman by ESPN, Alofaituli is the composite IOL in the country but the number 2 player in the state by 247Sports behind Utu.
Could the high school teammates be a package deal at the collegiate level? After putting three more of his linemen in the NFL this year, you can bet that Washington offensive line coach Scott Huff will be working his magic with Utu and Alofaituli.
