Washington Relaunches Penix4Heisman.com

My oh my, how times have changed. Five practices into spring last year and Michael Penix was battling Sam Huard and Dylan Morris got to be the starting QB.  365 and five practices later and the Huskies have relaunched Penix4Heisman.com

Hamstrung in 2022 by limited national exposure, with over half of Washington’s games starting after 6 P.M., 9 PM on the Eastern Time Zone, highlight reels weren’t prominently featured on ESPN.

Despite his late arrival to the national state, Penix finished 8th in Heisman balloting.

In reality, even the best of expectations proved to be low for the nation’s best passing offense.

Husky cornerback Elijah Jackson says that there’s just one word needed to describe Penix, “wizard”.   Having faced him in practice every day for the past year, plus 5 practices, he has a very good idea of what the offense is capable of.

On the other hand, receiver Jalen McMillan doesn’t.

”I don’t know that the offense has a ceiling,” the junior receiver from Fresno, California said.

Either way the relaunch of the site marks an important step for the University as they seek to elevate the marketing efforts of its most marketable player.

A year ago he battled Huard and Maurice. Now he will battle USC’s Caleb Williams and Oregon’s Bo Nix for number 1.
