Washington has offered 2025 athlete Kobe McGill – out of Gilbert, Arizona. McGill plays running back and wide receiver.
And if you were wondering, Kobe is named after the late great NBA legend Kobe Bryant.
“Yes. My father is a huge Lakers fan,” McGill said when asked whether he was named after Kobe Bryant.
The Huskies have been the first to offer numerous 2025 prospects. This was Kobe McGill’s first division one offer and it means a lot.
“Excitement,” McGill said about when he was first offered by UW. “But also like coach (Courtney) Morgan said, it’s all about me producing if I want to keep my offer.”
McGill is being recruited as an athlete. He measures in at 5-foot-5, 137 pounds. His most current 40-yard dash time is 4.5 seconds.
“I love the coaching staff and what they are doing,” McGill said
McGill is currently being recruited by running backs coach Lee Marks and wide receivers coach JaMarcus Shepard.
