Washington Moves Up as USC Falls in Week 4 AP Poll

There was a ton of overnight praise for UW from media personalities after the Washington Huskies’ convincing win over California.

However, for all of the late night love the Huskies only moved up one spot from 8 to seven.

To make way for Washington, USC slipped 3 spots after struggling against Arizona State.

In its final existence in its traditional form the Pac-12 Conference featuring West Coast powers, UW heads a contingent of four unbeaten conference teams:

7: Washington

8: USC

9: Oregon

10: Utah

”While it seems odd with its emphatic  win over California, one can expect given the late start that the majority of the voters had all but decided how their vote would go,” said RealDawg.com’s Trevor Mueller.

In fact, all of the teams ahead of Washington won but it took a sloppy win from the Trojans, who slipped three spots, to lift UW.

The Huskies will hit the road to play the Arizona Wildcats Saturday night at seven.
