The Washington Huskies have plucked another Wildcat from the Arizona roster, nabbing edge defender Russell Davis.
He becomes the second addition to Washington’s roster, joining 2024 safety Vincent Holms removed his name from the Transfer Portal.

Davis is a 6-3, 220 pound defender from Chandler, Arizona. Over two seasons with the Wildcats he appeared 23 games on both defense and special teams. 3.5 of his 5.5 tackles for loss. He surged late in the season with a sack and a half in the overtime loss to USC, a sack against UCLA, and another sack in the Alamo Bowl against Oklahoma.
Davis walks into a position that’s wide open as Washington is replacing potential first round draft pick Bralen Trice and Zion Tupuola-Fetui.
