Coming off of a narrow, 31-24 road victory over the Arizona Wildcats, the Washington Huskies held onto the number 7 spot in the country.
Washington’s opponent in two weeks, the Oregon Ducks moved up one spot to 8th, setting up an epic battle in Seattle on October 14.
While the game in Tucson wasn’t Washington’s best showing of the year, they did show that they can win and score points in a variety of ways.
USC, who had to hold on to beat Colorado, 48-41 slipped another spot this week, flipping places with Oregon in the poll.
The six teams ahead of Washington all remained the same. With Georgia the top team in the country.
The Pac-12 Conference still has 6 teams in the top 25. Utah dropped out of the Top 10, eight places. Both Washington State and Oregon State moved to 13th and 15th respectively. UCLA also received votes.
