Washington delivered its second transfer pickup of the day on Monday.
Former Montana State defensive lineman Sebastian Valdez has committed to Washington on Monday and will add experience, speed, and power for the Huskies. The 6’3, 285-pound lineman was a three-year starter and earned all-conference honors in his last two seasons for the Bobcats.

Valdez fits the Huskies’ defensive scheme perfectly and will have the opportunity to compete for a starting role in his last season of eligibility. Valdez is ranked as a four-star prospect in the 247Sports transfer rankings and comes in as the No. 9 ranked defensive lineman.
After the addition of B.J. Green from Arizona State, Washington has now added two defensive linemen in as many days. Valdez will be a major part of the Huskies’ 2024 roster as the defensive tackle will look to make an immediate impact when he joins the team next fall.
