Last week Johnson told RealDawg.com’s Roman Tomashoff that he is planning on making a decision before the end of the month. Johnson pushed back the announcement until July 5th, 2022. At the time Tomashoff came away with the feeling that Washington was in a prime position to land one of the top signal-callers in the nation. Since that time Johnson took his last official visit to Oregon from June 17th-19th.
Johnson said in his interview with Tomashoff that the Huskies were in the mix, today announcing that the Huskies were in his Top 3.
“Everywhere they go, they throw the ball all over the yard, put up a lot of points, and win games,” Johnson said. “That’s the kind of team I want to be a part of. I love their explosiveness on the offensive side of the ball, and the fact they win everywhere they go.”
I will be committing July 5th at 3pm CT at Maize High School. Anybody is welcome. It will also be on CBSSPORTS🔥 pic.twitter.com/ua5qJnADy1
