Rodriguez is a utility infielder who provides power and athleticism that will blend perfectly with the style of the Huskies’ defense. She was notably named the SBLive’s National Girls Athlete of the Week on May 15-21, 2023 for hitting a pair of grand slams in San Benito’s playoff semifinal series.
Rodriguez has overcome lots of adversity to get where she is today. In 2019, she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. After an extended break from softball, she became healthy and has erupted onto the scene, thriving as a superstar high school softball athlete.
Rodriguez is also the star pitcher for San Benito and will play a large role for them in the 2024 season. The former PGF Premier National Champion will be a major piece in the Washington Huskies 2025 recruiting class.
She will finish her high school career at Harlingen High School in the South Texas region called the Rio Grande Valley, roughly 15 minutes from San Benito.
