Realdawg.com confirmed tonight that Asa Turner has not yet made his intentions known, amid a flurry of Tweets, retweets, and deleted Tweets after Greg Biggins reported he’d committed to Washington, per his coach at Carlsbad.
“It kinda sucks”, Turner said regarding how the info leaked out, but he does plan to announce his decision tomorrow afternoon.
This explains why there was no “Woof” from Coach Petersen and no announcement yet from Turner, himself. We can’t confirm or deny that this is even true, but Turner and his family have been discussing how this was going to come down, and it’s just unfortunate that it wound up becoming a ball of confusion.
Biggins didn’t reach out to Turner to confirm the information. Both Turner and his mother are easily reachable on Twitter and via the phone or text. He ran with the information, even stating that the coach at Carlsbad told him that Turner didn’t want it made public yet.
