Halloween was a week ago, but in the first round of the 2025 Oregon 6A high school playoffs Friday night, Washington running back commit Ansu Sanoe put up some scary numbers. Against the 7th ranked Glencoe Crimson Tide the 6-1, 210 future Husky scored touchdowns on virtually every 4th carry—including on of 61-yards.
Like a family who ran out of Halloween candy, the Lakeridge power back slammed the door on GHS with a 5-yard powerful, spinning touchdown to put the game out of reach 35-14 with just over 7 minutes to go in the contest.
He finished the night with 21 carries 192 yards and 5 scores.
Sanoe had 10 touchdowns going into the game.
A few weeks ago, the unanimous first-team all-league running back had another monstrous game with 231 yards from scrimmage. He had 194 rushing yards on 24 carries including 2 rushing TDs. He tacked on 3 catches for 37 yards.
He was offered by Washington not long after Jedd Fisch joined the Huskies in February 2024, committing to UW 2 months later and has never wavered. In fact, the Huskies have offered his teammate, 3-star edge Noah Tishendorf, who’s currently committed to West Virginia. Sanoe appears to be actively recruiting him.
