Today it Begins: Pac-12 Media Day Primer

One thing that always signals a new football season is the gathering of coaches, players, and media in Los Angeles for Pac-12 media day. The activities begin this morning for the Pac-12 North teams, and then will reconvene in the afternoon for the South.

Here’s what to expect:

Washington will be the clear favorite to win the North, while USC is likely favored to win the South. If not, look for Arizona and UCLA to get some love from the media.

Chris Petersen will be flanked by Jake Browning and Jojo McIntosh, and Browning will be will featured, along with several of the Conference’s top student-athletes on-site, including Oregon’s Justin Herbert, Arizona’s Khalil Tate, Arizona State’s Manny Wilkins and Colorado’s Steven Montez, as well as new head football coaches Mario CristobalHerm EdwardsChip KellyJonathan Smith and Kevin Sumlin along with all other head coaches.
