The Huskies have now lost three receivers to the dreaded transfer portal, this time it’s starting receiver, Puka Nacua.
Before everyone flips out and accuses the Huskies of “not being able to hold on to their players”, let’s look at the facts.
Nacua is from Utah, and from everything we’ve heard the past couple of weeks this is all about family issues for Nacua, and not about how he felt about being at Washington.
He got the playing time, but Nacua has gone home a few times in the past few months and this has been an ongoing issue with Nacua and his family.
Right now the Huskies aren’t the only team dealing with the Nacua issues; his brother at Utah is also in the portal.
So now what?
We hear that two more receivers will be leaving in April, but they are not starters.
