Former local athlete and Husky safety, Taylor Rapp was picked today in the second-round of the draft (61st pick) by the Los Angeles Rams.
Rapp makes four Huskies now in the Top 60 of the first and second rounds of the draft; the most (so far) of the Pac-12 picked. This matches a program record for the number of players selected in the first two rounds of any draft.
Rapp came to Washington by way of Sehome, Washington and is yet another product of the coaching and development of Jimmy Lake and Will Harris.
He’s best remembered for the picks he had in the Pac-12 title game in 2016 against Colorado — that was when he truly put his name on the map of Husky football.
