Jedd Fisch, head coach at the University of Arizona, is expected to be named the next Washington head coach. He just led Arizona to a 10-3 season which included an Alamo Bowl win over Oklahoma.
A team meeting has been set at Arizona and it is expected he will inform them that he is taking the job. Fisch is also likely to bring in members from his coaching staff as well as transfers.

Fisch has experience turning around depleted rosters, as Arizona went 1-11 before posting an eight-win turnaround in two seasons, the most in program history.
There will be a lot of work for Fisch to do with Washington, with many roster sports needing to be filled. Fisch will be busy trying to bring in his guys, as well as retaining talent that entered the portal following the departure of Kalen DeBoer and staff.
Things will be moving very quickly for both programs.
