King, a 6-foot-8 shooting guard/small forward has fielded offers from Washington, Pepperdine, USSB, Lehigh, and Seattle University.
He is the rated as the 5th best basketball prospect in the state of Washington, and has the length that Washington coach Mike Hopkins likes.
He spoke with RealDawg.com’s Kyle Waltos earlier last month, calling the offer from the Huskies a “full circle moment”.
At 6-8, King can present problems for defenders with his ability to shoot from any spot on the court.
He becomes the 2nd commit for the 2023 recruiting class, joining 4-star guard Westley Yates from Beaumont, Texas.
