The Husky coaches aren’t holding back; they’ve been hitting the recruiting trail, albeit a technology trail due to the restrictions from COVID-19.
I have spoken to each of the guys who have been offered and will be rolling those interviews out throughout the afternoon and evening, but for now, here’s a quick review of those new offers from the past day and a few from last night:

I spoke to Lucas right after he was offered, at that moment Oregon hadn’t offered yet, but they quickly followed suit after Washington offered.
Lucas is a 6-5, 285 OLB/DE who has only played football two seasons, but already has 11 offers. He’s being recruited by Ikaika Malloe.

Blessed to receive another football offer from University of Washington ??@CoachWillHarris @CoachTB02 pic.twitter.com/jNE3HXSsOx

Williams is from Portland, and his cousin played on the 2011 hoops team alongside Isaiah Thomas. He has seven offers right now and is especially excited about the Husky offer because he’s been around the campus several times for basketball games. He also plays basketball. Washington wants him at safety.

I AM TRULY BLEESED AND HUMBLED TO SAY THAT I HAVE RECEIVED AN OFFER FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON !!?⚪️ #PurpleReign @CoachK_UW pic.twitter.com/x1QV47wnSU
— Rashad Mckenzie Jr (@03RashadM) April 9, 2020
Rashad is a pass-rusher who’s 6-4, 220 and he is also super excited about the offer. Coach K also got on the phone and spoke with his mother. Washington and ASU are the only schools to offer so far. So this was a special one for Rashad.
There’s a couple more offers I’m hearing may go out before the days’ end, and also a few guys from last night who I am still scheduled to talk to.
