At 5 pm today we will join a Pac-12 webinar about the CEO group’s decision on whether or not to start the regular football season, as well as implications for basketball.
While it hasn’t been officially announced yet, sources report that the conference has decided on a November 6th start date, and basketball will begin Thanksgiving weekend.
Reports also indicate that there will be a 7-game season, not including the Pac-12 championship game.
Jimmy Lake talked about this at length yesterday during his show on KJR, and shed some light on why a seventh game would be better than just a six game season, in terms of the league championship.
Lake said the team is back on campus, ready to begin classes, and will begin practices next week.
