Reports: Huskies Add Another Staff Member

Football Scoop is reporting that Fresno State Offensive Analyst, Mitch Dahlen will be joining Kalen DeBoer’s staff at Washington.

According to his bio on the Fresno State site:

Mitch Dahlen is in his second year as an offensive quality control assistant with the Bulldogs in 2021.

His last stop was at Black Hills State University as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Prior to joining the staff at BHSU, Dahlen was at Boise State University, where he was the assistant wide receivers and quarterbacks coach. He helped lead one of the top passing offenses in the country. He helped implement the Bronco’s game plan as well as coach on the field during the 2018 season, finishing the year with a 10-3 record and the No. 23 ranking in the country.

Dahlen was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the College of Idaho from 2016-18. He helped lead the team to multiple broken school records on offense, including total yards, pass yards, and rush yards. He coached two separate record breaking quarterbacks along with multiple All-Conference selections and one All-American.

Dahlen has also spent time as a guest coach for the BC Lions Football Club in the Canadian Football League (2015), the assistant quarterbacks coach and play signaler at Southern Utah University (2013-14), and the co-offensive coordinator and passing game coordinator at Sandy High School (2011).

Dahlen began his collegiate playing career at Utah where he played quarterback under head coach Kyle Whittingham and OC Brian Johnson. He then moved to Southern Utah where he played quarterback for the Thunderbirds.

Dahlen graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUU with a degree in business management.
