University of Washington running back Will Nixon is no longer with the team, On Montlake’s Christian Caple had reported.
The 5-11, 202-pound Nebraska transfer sat out the xxx season with a torn ACL. Kalen DeBoer brought in Virginia transfer Wayne Taulapapa for the 2022 season then last season Dillon Johnson.

33 carriers for 201 yards last season, drawing the start in the first game of the season. However, as Johnson became healthy Nixon’s role diminished.
Earlier in the week he was in a position group photo, but clearly off to one side.
The transfer portal opens in mid April, when Nixon will probably file the paperwork. He will likely have 2 years of eligibility remaining.
