Reece’s Pieces: Social Media Reacts to Washington’s Spring Preview

Welcome to Reece’s Pieces! Saturday, April 30th was not only the spring preview, but day three (rounds four through seven) of the NFL Draft, so as you can expect it had Twitter in a frenzy! Let’s go through some of the highlights.

Prior to the start of the spring preview, former Husky Tight End Cade Otton got drafted with the first pick of the 3rd day of the NFL Draft, making him the 3rd Husky off the board, but not the last!

The spring preview turnout provided Duck fans with a new way to show they are obsessed with UW.

Jaxson Kirkland sighting prior to kickoff!

Interesting to say the least, which has caused Husky fans to theorize about his reasoning not to show up to the past few practices.

Michael Penix Jr. and Dylan Morris split first-team reps for the majority of the day, with Sam Huard leading the second-team.

In the middle of the spring review, we saw another former Husky get drafted in the fifth round, rounding out the Husky draft class as the fourth and final Husky to be selected.

Touchdown, Washington as Aaron Dumas barrels over the… Washington defense… to score a TD!

Interesting dance moves from the Husky offensive line to say the least…

Probably the most shocking news to come out of the spring preview was former five-star defensive end out of Eastside Catholic J.T. Tuimoloau appearing in attendance, seemingly to support his friends on the team.

This didn’t stop people from theorizing though…

Tracy Ford tried to silence the rumors a bit.

One of the best plays of the day came from redshirt freshman Junior Alexander!

Finally the game-winner, with a final score of Washington 34, Washington 29.

The Washington spring preview provided Husky fans and media with a lot of content.
