Of course, let’s start with RealDawg.com’s headlines from day one.

Sam Huard showed the reporters in attendance his full potential.

The defensive line is looking to bounce back after a sub-par 2021 campaign.
Looking at the 1’s and 2’s on the edge. UW has 4 big tome rushers.

Former five-star edge rusher Sav’ell Smalls put in work according to Trevor!
Yeah. He played well. Made Morris’ job harder.

It appears Sam Huard and Giles Jackson built up some chemistry over the offseason.

Could transfer Michael Penix Jr. be QB1 this fall?
UW's first fall practice is over. QB Michael Penix Jr. took the majority of starting reps and looked pretty sharp. Highlight of the day was a 45-yard Michael Penix Jr. touchdown to wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk, who hauled it in despite likely PI from corner Mishael Powell.

That’s for sure!
Kalen DeBoer opens by noting the team had an efficient practice. Got plenty of reps on day one.

Hopefully Edefuan Ulofoshio will be back sooner rather than later.
Expectation for LB Edefuan Ulofoshio is to miss about the first half of the season to recover. DeBoer doesn't want to put a firm timeline on it, however, knowing Ede and his mindset to get back sooner than is anticipated.

The starting group along the offensive line today.
The starting OL was LT Jaxson Kirkland, LG Troy Fautanu, C Corey Luciano, RG Henry Bainivalu and RT Roger Rosengarten. Geirean Hatchett worked in at right guard a bit as well. https://t.co/k4YN9325KL

And with that, people are already asking the important question.
Who's the starting QB?
— EB (@EB_UW_) August 4, 2022
Wide receivers coach JaMarcus Shephard is one of the best in the business for many reasons, including his intensity.

I didn’t say it…
I heard Junior Adams does the same thing except it's asking each guy if they knew he coached Kupp.
